My two Vampire knight characters Laurande Amadeas (Dea for short) and Takaru Elanii

Amadeas was born October 23rd 1847 in what is now London England, while most of his accent has fadded with time away from his home he still carries his elegant charm.

Born of Lord Gawain and Lady Cathleen he was as close as possibly to being a Pureblood however a minor human taint kept him from such a destiny.

Elanii was born January sixth in feudal Japan. She was born sickly however over the vast ammount of years her illness seems to have disappeared.
The name of her mother is unknown as she'd been murdered shortly after Elanii's birth and all records of her had since been lost to time, her father was a feudal lord named Takaru Masshiro, nothing more is known of him. She would fall under the level of an aristocrat.

~ Amadeas is older than Elanii by around eighty years.
~Elanii however has been a member of Cross academy for longer.

After that tid-bit of information I'd like to explain the picture. The colored version of the photo one. While in the Photo they appear very calm and poised around eachother while in reality Amadeas struggles to chose between the betroved marrage his family had planned, even though he does not truely love the woman, or Elanii a girl of a different origin who his parents feel is a threat to their bloodline...
Hence the title.



The manga should resume within the next few weeks. Been lazy...
